Best Decision Ever 5 Years and Counting

Over the years, I had searched for an educational program which would teach me the basics of how to buy real estate. I had seen Russ Whitney who was “coming to my town” along with Carleton Sheets and Robert Allen who would buy property without any of their own money. After checking them out, they did not have the appeal that I believed should be in a real estate ackage/mentorship program. I then started reading demographer and futurist Harry S. Dent’s book “The Roaring 2000’s” in November 2000 after the tech stock meltdown had occurred. He refers to R.E.I.N. as a way to educate oneself and buy properties and joined in January 2001 largely based upon that recommendation.

Before that time, I had no clear idea what I was doing in real estate transactions and was merely dreaming of a better tomorrow. Over the years, I have come to understand the key economic fundamentals of real estate, purchased properties, increased my net worth and have a clear Personal Belize that I review regularly. I recall buying my first investment property using the contrarian mindset of Sir John Templeton and purchasing when the outlook was very bad. In February 2002, I applied these timeless principles, got very excited and went out in -30 degree weather and had my first offer accepted on a rental property in Bowness which was and still is an area of transition. To this day, viewing properties in extreme hot or cold weather gives me a huge advantage over everyone else when they are focused on staying warm or going to the beach!

Real Estate is universally acclaimed as the greatest wealth preserver I have ever come across. All around the world, real estate is recognized as the safest most secure place to keep one’s assets and I believe it always will be because it is tangible. Regardless of culture, upbringing or location, the importance of land in one’s every day life and portfolio cannot be underestimated! Investing in Alberta real estate has been the most boring, uneventful and best investment I have ever made!

At this time, I am setting up my real estate business in what I believe to be the hottest real estate market in the world (Alberta) which in my opinion will not only ensure my family’s future but those of my future generations. Although I do not presently have a large portfolio of real estate properties, I will continue to fake it until I make it as I did many years ago learning English as a second language.

Joining REIN has been one of the best decisions I have ever made in my entire life! The unmatched friends and support along with extensive cutting edge research simply cannot be matched. I always tell people if they run across a better real estate group than REIN to let me know. To date, no one has been able to do this!!
