Thank you for your ongoing support because it works! When I signed up for R.E.I.N. 2 weeks ago my biggest concern was attracting joint venture partners. Donna was kind enough to get me a copy of a previous meeting's recording which was about joint venture partnership. Within the last 24 hours I have listened to the interview section about 3 times.
Walking to my car with a fellow student from my marketing class I managed to change the topic of discussion so swiftly with only 2-3 sentences to real estate investment that I got the guy so excited about investing in real estate that I've already managed to set up a meeting with him next week. You should of seen him when I've mentioned the option of investing with RRSPs. I only had a copy of the Edmonton-Calgary Corridor economic data of which I told him his welcome to keep it until we meet.
Currently I only have one property rented. I bought it in January. Did a long closing on it, took possesion on June 1st. It was rented by the 15th of June with $ 95 (this is just my guess) over market and a positive cash flow of $ 160 by using your strategies. Also I have just closed on an other deal which I will take possesion on Aug 1st. If everything goes well I will be able to generate at least $500 of positive cash flow from it. Icing on the cake is that when I had the ad in the paper for my first house I've also managed to line up a tenant for the house I will take possesion of on Aug 1st. I guess I've also saved a couple of bucks there.
